What are your specialities and areas of interest?

I’m honored to work with individuals and families from all walks of life. Some of my specialties include:

Depression & Anxiety
I work closely with individuals navigating the challenges of depression and anxiety, offering a safe space to explore emotions, build resilience, and develop practical tools for healing and growth.

Fertility Struggles
Fertility journeys can be isolating and emotionally draining. I support individuals and couples through the uncertainty, grief, and hope that often accompany this deeply personal path.

Autism Support
As a proud mother of two Autistic children, I bring both professional insight and lived experience to my work with families in the Autism community. I understand the complexities and joys that come with neurodiversity and offer compassionate guidance for parents, spouses, and individuals.

Couples & Relationship Support
Relationships can be deeply fulfilling—and deeply challenging. I help couples navigate communication struggles, life transitions, and the emotional impact of parenting or caregiving. My approach focuses on rebuilding connection, trust, and mutual understanding.

Parent & Family Empowerment
My passion lies in helping families recognize the strength within themselves. Whether you’re facing a new diagnosis, managing daily challenges, or simply trying to reconnect, I’m here to remind you: you are not alone—and you are stronger than you think.

What sparks the most joy for you as the therapist?

As a therapist, I’m privileged to come alongside my clients, helping them navigate through their challenges and find their path toward healing and growth. We’re all in process, and being able to support someone through their journey is truly rewarding. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a win. It’s an honor to be part of that transformation.

How would you describe your therapy style?

I believe in getting into the mud with my clients, offering an empathetic and safe space where they can open up and share their struggles. Together, we navigate the windy and often treacherous roads they come in with, working side by side toward healing. Building a strong therapeutic alliance is something that is of the utmost importance to me—because it’s in that trust and partnership where true transformation happens.

What is your favorite quote?

“When we deny our emotion, it owns us. When we own our emotion, we can rebuild and find our way through the pain.” Brene Brown.

I love this quote becauseIt is so true when it comes to a therapeutic environment. If you don’t feel your feelings and push through, they will control you.

When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your free time?

When I’m not working, I am spending time with my five children and husband of 16 years. I enjoy baking, reading, going to hockey games and spending time with friends
